Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, Galatians 1:3-4

Christ’s death was not accidental. God is not aloof from our condition. God’s solution is to build a bridge between Himself and those willing to draw near is simple: “Grace and Peace!” The bridge is anchored in Grace, a radical spirituality found nowhere else on planet Earth, except one: the Jewish Old Testament Scriptures. Paul demonstrates this “New Testament” Grace is a great explosion of “Old Testament” Grace.

But people don’t want “grace” from God, and the massive implications of freedom it brings. Within a dozen years after the death of Jesus (33 AD), efforts were underway to alter his revolutionary words with restrictive and religious laws, and Paul is fighting mad about it! He spares no words denouncing such attempts to hijack the simple “Grace and Peace” of Jesus into a man-made religion with arbitrary rules.
